Hello, I’m Lars, a solo founder, and I’d love for you to critique my SaaS! I think many of you have a great understanding of what makes a good SaaS, so it could be fun to hear your thoughts. If you’d like, share your own SaaS, and I’ll provide feedback on yours too! Don’t hold back I’m open to critical feedback with solid arguments.
Here are some things to consider:
- First impressions
- Visual appeal
- Logical flow
- What could be improved
- Functionality
- Pricing
Edit: I appreciate all the comments! It’s fascinating to see how different countries have varying tools for finding homes.
A special shoutout to Frank for his roast—make sure to follow him! Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-wUvN3XoE0
Hello, could you tell me who your ideal clientele is? in particular for the subscription approach.
I mean, folks look for rentals for about a month just where I’m from. Following that, they sign a contract that lasts for six or more months.
If that isn’t the situation in the Netherlands or if you are aiming to reach a different audience brokers, for example I would be very interested to hear.
I hope the best for you!
I appreciate your thoughtful reply. My target market consists of folks in the 25–35 age range who are looking for a long-term renting agreement. Which nation do you hail from? How’s the local rental market doing?
Oh, that’s awesome! I’m writing from India. People are saying the market here is pretty saturated right now, but here’s my quick feedback:
- Header: What an eye-catching header!
- Body Copy: The text under the header could be shortened since it’s already covered. Maybe something like, “Find your ideal rental faster with our lightning-fast, budget-friendly alert system.”
- How It Works: I didn’t realize it was a video link at first and almost skipped it. Also, the video volume is quite low.
- Testimonials: They stand on their own—you really don’t need extra copy. Maybe just highlight key points. Check out Sunsama’s testimonial section for inspiration.
- ‘We Understand Your Pain’ Section: The text here isn’t necessary, and you might want to rethink the button as well.
- The next section is really important and adds a lot of value!
- “Rent a house quickly.”: Is that the main message, or would “Find the best rental in no time” be better?
Anyway, all the best! The website looks super clean and intuitive, and it seems like your SaaS follows that same vibe.
Nice SaaS, and it seems like it could be helpful to people. I like it!
In the Czech Republic, we have something similar called bezrealitky.cz, and it’s free. I’m not sure what their business model is, but it’s been running for years, so it might give you some inspiration.
“Every minute we scan every rental website to find your dream home.” Grammarly suggests: “Every minute, we scan every rental website to find your dream home.”
But honestly, I don’t care how you do it. What matters to me is how it benefits me. Maybe something like, “Today is the last day you’ll need to search for your dream home” would work better.
“Try 3 days for free.” What does that even mean? How does that help me? “View all houses” sounds much clearer, but the button doesn’t stand out.
The website looks sleek overall!
“Every minute we scan every rental” sounds a bit off to me because of the repeated use of “every.”
It wasn’t immediately clear that the yellow sticker was for a video, but I clicked it anyway.
I also noticed that the English version of the site includes some Dutch (NL) in a few spots.
As for the concept, I’m unsure. In my country, there’s no real market for this due to a monopoly situation. However, if rental homes are listed on various platforms, this could be a useful idea.
Pricing is always tricky, but it feels a bit expensive to me. Maybe instead of a monthly fee, you could charge until the user finds the home they want. That would make me more interested if I were using the service.
I adore the man at work! Not a roast, but here are some improvements you could make:
Change the logo it kind of looks like Hostinger and consider putting a home in the letter H. On the landing page, use fewer words most people won’t read much instead, make it more visually appealing by adding more icons and infographics.
All in all, enjoy your work and keep creating
