Give away a solid SaaS concept that you will never be able to develop

Build In Public

Share a SaaS idea that you believe could succeed but don’t plan on developing yourself.

Explain why you won’t pursue building it.

If someone takes on the idea and creates a project, reply with the project link and consider giving a gift to the original idea donor when it helps you achieve financial success.

For example: FirstInterview.com

This B2B SaaS would cater to mid-sized companies that frequently hire. It would streamline the process by having candidates answer standard first interview questions via webcam through a web app. The app could allow for re-recordings and would send a link to the hiring manager, who could easily navigate through the responses. This would save time for hiring managers and improve the recruitment process.

I’m not going to develop it because it’s likely already been done, it doesn’t interest me, and it’s just an example!

Similar to Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Trello, Dropbox, Asana, HubSpot, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Shopify, Zendesk, Atlassian Jira, GitHub, Canva, Notion, Mailchimp, QuickBooks Online, FreshBooks, Xero, Stripe, DocuSign, Monday.com, SurveyMonkey, Hootsuite, Intercom, Pipedrive, Square, Calendly, Buffer, Wix, Squarespace, Basecamp, Airtable, Grammarly, Typeform, WordPress.com, ClickUp, Gusto, Tableau, Hotjar, Zoho CRM, Bitbucket, Freshdesk, Cloudflare, PayPal, Twilio, Adobe Creative Cloud, Smartsheet, Workday, and PagerDuty, but distinct.

I haven’t looked to see if anyone has made it in a while. I had in mind a website that allows you to perform word searches on the Internet.

Feel free to take it and run with it. This will be a huge hit, in my opinion.

Just a handful of the concepts I have.

I recently came up with an idea for an AI tool that would integrate with business/team communication platforms like Slack, WhatsApp, or Teams. This tool would perform weekly analyses of discussions within these channels. It could provide high-level sentiment analysis or delve deeper into connection and inflection analysis to reveal insights such as: 1) who is leading the conversations, 2) the mood of the discussions, 3) notable achievements during the period, 4) major stories or key topics based on the volume of messages or words related to those subjects, and more. The findings would be compiled into a written summary, serving as a collaboration storyboard, which could be delivered weekly or monthly.

This one I had previously constructed, but I had to close it down because it was too expensive to run on a bootstrap. I hope someone can raise the necessary venture capital.

An app that links to your credit and debit cards and instantly arranges all of your transactions (as you spend ). It notifies you which are tax deductible and allows you to export them when it is time to file your taxes.

No, Plaid won’t be used.

An AI gaming engine was a significant deal. (Video generator) that responds to keystrokes immediately. It will create a realistic-feeling game with surprising actions and settings. The game will truly have an open universe.

By giving your AI model gameplays from twitch + inputs, you can develop it.

I’ve got a ton of SaaS ideas just sitting in my head! Here’s one: “ProcrastiPlanner” – a tool that converts your procrastination into productivity by scheduling tasks based on how long you’ve been avoiding them.

Why won’t I build it? Because I’m too busy procrastinating myself! :man_shrugging:
Honestly, it feels almost criminal not to bring these great ideas to life. But if you’re inspired to take action, I recently came across a no-code platform called Fuzen. It might be a good option if you want to turn these ideas into reality without dealing with coding. Just a thought!
