How do all of you approach acquiring users?

I’ve had some success in the past with posting on Product Hunt and Twitter, but I’m trying to find the best contemporary strategies. Though most of the posts I’ve made on Reddit subreddits aren’t promotional in nature.

I’m interested in knowing what solutions you folks have discovered to work.

Examine Edtech companies with a large student population, such as Udemy and ALX, and identify the platforms they utilise, such as Discord and WhatsApp.

If their demographics match those of your target market, that is.

I’ve seen lifetime deals have positive results, so you could be able to earn some cash to get started and acquire the first 100 committed customers in exchange for lifetime access to your product.

SEO is effective but requires significant effort and patience, with results typically taking months to materialize. However, it’s excellent for long-term, sustainable customer acquisition.

For quicker results, you can search Reddit and Twitter for individuals who are:

  • Seeking alternatives to your competitors.
  • Complaining about your competitors.
Requesting recommendations for solutions that your product or service can provide.
You can streamline this process by using tools like CustomerFinderBot to save time and effort. This approach works well because these people are already interested in what you offer, making them more likely to make a purchase.

It’s a fantastic idea to search Reddit and Twitter for unhappy customers of rival businesses. That sounds like something I’ll try.

Many thanks!

functions well, though, if you have the money to hire a professional to set it up.
Is your business bootstrapped or funded?

I don’t know much about your product, but I can find communities on social media and in WhatsApp groups.

That seems like a good start. What is the process for locating WhatsApp groups? Or do you have any recommended reading lists, educational resources, etc.? I would absolutely like to give that a try.
