Using a to-do list software, I made $330 in a month

In about a month, my timeboxing SaaS, Timebox.so, has earned $330 from one-time payments by targeting readers of Cal Newport’s Deep Work as my ideal customer profile.

I’ve been sharing updates publicly and posting occasional product demos on X. I also launched on ProductHunt last week, where we hit #7 on the featured page!
While it’s not a huge amount, the takeaway is that you don’t need to create the next big AI breakthrough to make an impact. Focus on solving a problem for a specific customer group.
Edit: A week later, earnings have reached $434!

Fascinating! Since it’s kind of the first time I’ve seen a to-do list and time that can be made so easily, I believe there is a market match. Many times, people only use their calendar app or, at work, their outlook calendar for crucial events and chaotic situations.

I may even consider using it!

Sincerely impressed by (a) the feature presentation’s clean look and (b) the ICP focus and related messaging consistency. Oh, and the demo is fantastic I wish more web apps had it to facilitate a quick and easy way to experience the UI and interactions. I like the notes in the same view and the area designated for “todo later.”
Do you intend to implement a subscription payment model in the future? With just a single payment, how long-term is the website and perhaps expanding data storage?

A lifetime offer for this thread’s users?

I’m also curious about the kind of posts you produced on X and how you attracted followers.

This is fantastic. Could you please connect your X so we can talk?
