What should we do now that my design tool generated over $3.3K in revenue in September?

I wanted to share that I made over $3,377.60 with my design tool in September.

About 10 months ago, my partner and I set out to build a design tool that lets you create 2D and 3D logos, tattoos, illustrations, and AI art. It’s now been around 9 months since we launched.

So far, we’ve achieved 1.55 million total impressions and 64.5K clicks, and our revenue continues to grow each month! I’ve been using a subscription model to monetize the tool since launch.

For the first 6 months, we focused solely on SEO and organic marketing strategies. Over the last 2 months, we experimented with both paid and organic marketing, but it actually led to a drop in both sales and our Google rankings. As a result, we decided to stop paid marketing this month and shift back to organic strategies.
For September, we had 350K impressions, 12.1K clicks, and $3.3K in revenue. We’ve driven traffic through viral organic content and SEO, and we’re continuously working to enhance our product to deliver the best experience possible.
I’d love to hear any recommendations!

What recommendations would you guys like to make about SEO and backlinking?

We began submitting our product to websites where we could build a solid backlink profile prior to our launch. For these websites, we can suggest those with a high domain authority. Your SEO takes two to three months to mature. Following this procedure, we used SEO blogs to assist our website.

Well done!

As a developer, I’m beginning to work on several independent projects. I’ve been researching the best ways to use organic marketing, and it appears that you’re doing an amazing job carrying out your strategy. Ahrefs offers a really helpful YouTube series for anyone who want to learn more.

Here’s what I would suggest:

With 1.5 million visits, your landing page should reflect that scale. Consider simplifying it into a sleek, slightly sophisticated design. It might also help to analyze who makes up that 1.5 million in untapped (and disengaged) audience segments.

The people who signed up and spent money (generating $3.3K) are just a small fraction compared to the 1.5 million visitors who didn’t engage, right? So, wouldn’t it be more effective to focus on attracting those who aren’t currently engaging rather than the ones who already are?

After defining these points, it’s worth having a brainstorming session to outline the next steps, which should include refining your strategy and execution.

I hope my approach makes sense!

It looks amazing!

I would experiment with sponsored advertisements. Given how visually focused this tool is, I believe you could create some really amazing image advertising for it to test posting on Facebook and Instagram.

Another tool for image design, TinyKiwi, produced excellent results for us.

To maintain the interest of warm leads, use email marketing. If you haven’t previously, set up sequences like “abandoned page” and “abandoned cart”. In one of these emails, provide promotions to encourage them.

Incredible accomplishment!

I would love to have you appear on the website I manage so I can tell your story and highlight SketchLogo AI.

Set up a sizable sum for promotion, and use pay per click. It will grow considerably more quickly. I’d be pleased to assist if you get in touch.
